The New Logo
Dog Lover & Founder of Beasts Barn.
24 JULY, 2016
So what’s up with this new logo right? I’ve been gone for months and suddenly came back with a new logo and new look for my website.
Well, a few days ago I was inspired to start blogging again after nearly four months chillin’.
I will write about how I wasn’t motivated at all, feeling like I had lost my enthusiasm about life into inspired ideas and actions in my next post.
In this post I’m gonna share with you how I magically got this new logo idea.
: Take A Break
This is what I learned from Abraham and now I know that it’s true through experience.
DO NOT force yourself to do anything when you’re not inspired or do not feel like doing it.
If you feel stuck, take a break and do something else.
When I started feeling inspired to blog again, I opened my website and it felt “off”. It doesn’t feel like me NOW.
I remember liking my white & green theme, but now it doesn’t feel like it suits me anymore.
“Coincidently” (well, for me it’s the Universe synchronicity with my new energy), Elegant Themes is having this 100 Day awesome tutorials for the prelaunch of their new Divi 3.0 theme.
I’m using Divi theme for my websites, so now I got some awesome layout templates and plugins to play around with. Yay!
If I were to force myself to write my blog four months ago I would have MORE work to do now as I need to figure out the codes and relayout all the posts.
Now I don’t have to do that. I just imported the templates and plugins.
But that part is not as magical as how the new logo was inspired.
So I have this new layout and color scheme for my website but the logo didn’t seem to fit.
I tried to change the color but I didn’t like it.
: Make A Total Change
Then I thought and if I do a total makeover, like totally different.
Maybe I should replace the paw with something else.
Out of all the beasts, which one I love the most? Easy, DOGS!
Ok, out of all the dogs, what type of dog do I really like. I love mutts and big dogs.
But the dog I really want to have is Great Dane. So, I look for a great dane icon and found this one.
It’s nice but I just wanted the head/face and I don’t have the software to cut just the head properly.
I kept looking and there were hundreds of dog icons and my eyes and head started hurting.
Then I remembered, “what am I doing? I’m making too much effort already. I should chill.”
So I left my laptop, made a cup of coffee and had a toilet break.
The light in my toilet is not working so it’s a bit dark. While I was in the toilet, I was thinking about what else to put on the logo.
Ta da! LIGHT! When you’re in the dark, what do you need? LIGHT!
Since the new color scheme is brownish yellow, that’s perfect! Maybe I put a sun over the dog.
I quickly went back to my laptop, this was on my screen ….
I was like, “What the fuck? Where the hell did this dog come from? This is PERFECT! Thank you!”
When I left for my break, I was still searching so the window was like this …
I believe when I was on the break, the Universe picked the perfect dog icon for me! Woohoooo!!! *happy dance again*
Great! So now I only need to search for the sun icon. Out all of the icons, I was attracted to this particular one.
Guess what did I see when I clicked on it?
VORTEX!!!!! Hahahahahah 😀
Well, you probably wouldn’t find it funny if you’re not Abraham Hicks follower.
According to Abraham, to manifest everything that you want, all you need to do is to go into the Vortex, which also means just get happy.
Vortex is the place where all your desires reside.
: What It Means
In a nutshell, this dog in the logo portrays authenticity, unconditional love, living in the moment, awesome and powerful yet kind and gentle. The dark brown color of the dog is earth, means grounded.
The yellow sun/vortex means light, hope, happiness and manifestation of desires.
It’s a simple logo yet it means a lot, to me at least 😉

Take a break. Don’t force it.
If you don’t like it, Change it.
You’re not alone. The Universe got your back.
